Queen of Peace Center celebrates its 25th anniversary with "Faces And Voices Of Recovery"
Opening reception is Wednesday, July 21, 4:00 -7:00pm
Featuring artwork, poems and short audio recordings that illustrate or represent images and works will focus upon the recovery aspect of addiction and co-occurring disorders to help change public perceptions of recovery.
"Face and Voices of Recovery is America in all its diversity.
Dads, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, and friends of people regaining their health and lives through freedom from addiction. By organizing and speaking out together, we support and give hope to individuals who are still struggling with addiction and to those who have found the power of long- term recovery."
